Dualit are never cheap, and many people will ask how they can justify
over £100 for a toaster? simple, I paid £20 for four
toasters in one year, each breaking down in a matter of months,
seems the heating element is the common feature to go. My Dualit
I am unsure of the model model, but it looks like this image, I
have owned it for maybe 5-6 years and it works like new, I don't
regret a penny of the money I spent. Not only do you get a quality
life lasting appliance, it also looks fantastic and not a white
plastic piece of tat which is an embarrassment when friends arrive
for a cup of coffee. The Dualit website states that their toasters
combine simplicity and sophistication, something that rings so true.
Dualit toasters are also all handmade in Britain, so you are supporting
British industry to boot. As to operating the toaster - any child
could do it, with simple bold controls, easy to read timer an instruction
manual is useless. When it comes to toasters you get what you pay
for, look in any of the quality high street brands like John Lewis
or Debenhams for one. You will not regret it.
