Leaked oil - the control unit blinked out after four months of use.

The whole unit is built to an extremely poor standard, it's so bad I would classify it as a risk to your health and safety.

Can be taken apart and cleaned easily.
There are slimmer and more attractive fryers.

I am surprised to read such a negative rating of this fryer - I've used this model problem free for over a year. I could not however discount that Morphy Richards may have a low standard of quality checking.
