A history for those of you not in the know, the British inventor
James Dyson launched a his new design type for washing machine a
few years. The difference to the common machines before it is the
use of two cylinders rotating in opposite directions. This James
Dyson claims reduces the wash time and produces cleaner results.
To support British industry and in the belief that Dyson was probably
correct after his vacuum success convinced me to buy the CRO1. First
of it features a good load size, it's quiet and has a variety of
programme and spin options.
But this is all wiped out in my opinion due to it's dreadful build
quality. In just a couple of years I've had a couple of front door
handles snap off, it's developed three different leaks and the drum
totally failed to boot. Bear in mind this machine cost around £900
when new, without the reliability problems it would be brilliant
because it performs remarkable well when working.
But I am someone who expects her machine machine to work without
fault for at least 10 years. My last washing machine lasted 17 years.
