price
versus functions - incl. = cool wall + anti odour filter - worked
reliable for two years
not
a work of art
frees up an extra hob where the chip pan went, made cooking tea
easier - with a price tag of thirty quid not much against it

I began my search a few years ago with a fund of £40 maximum,
this fryer caught my eye because it was Breville and included all
the basic functions and safety features I required like a cool wall.
I once burnt my palm quite badly on a deep fat fryer so a cool wall
was a must. The basket also features a handle which can be locked
and also a removable module which allows the fryer basket to be
dismantled for cleaning. The only criticism I can think of is that
the basket cannot be lowered - raised or altered once the lid has
been closed. This may not suit everyone and could mean you leaving
the lid open and letting all the steam and smells rise into your
workspace.

totally
love it
meh!
none silly!
Was bought as a replacement fryer for our woeful Delonghi fryer.
This model is light years better than our old one. The main problem
with our old fryer was it included no automatic temperature control
- it relied on a timer which was hit and miss. Our Breville on the
other hand came with a light telling you when the oil is up to the
desired temperature. The food capacity is also improved and with
an anti odour charcoal filter it adds up to an excellent all round
package . I'm very happy with it and will not return it unlike the
Delonghi.
