Easy
drain system works well - rotating basket is the major buying point
None
as of yet
I have owned this fryer for over five years now. The model number
has been altered - but for all purposes it looks the exact same
appliance. The rotating basket at the time was the first available
and the major reason I decided to buy it.
Compared to a traditional fryer which does not rotate the difference
in how the food tasted - and how evenly it cook was a revelation.
It did a much more efficient job in terms of oil used, odor and
breadcrumb and batter residue left.
Alongside the rotating basket there is a built-in adjustable thermostat
which ensures the correct temperature setting - the indicator light
lets you know exactly the moment the oil temperature has reached
its peak. After reading the manual you will appreciate that different
foods like chips, chicken, fish etc. require a different temperature
setting.
The lid also ensures no hot oil splashes out and burns your arms
or more dangerously a small children walking close by. Without a
lid closed and a viewing window your worktop will become a total
mess. There is also a little handle on the outside you can use to
raise the basket and view the food for a closer inspection through
the window.
The specification of this fryer at the point of purchase was class
leading, and all these years later it still seems to be there. I
would not exchange this fryer for any other.
