I typically use it with a litre bottle of sunflower oil and fry
my own home made chips. The viewing window is good and filter works
well. Most parts (excluding the base element) goes in the dishwasher.

The
basket size is good. You can cook a large amount of chips in one
serving.
Unattractive.
Simple and uncomplicated fryer which cooks evenly and reliable
time and time again. The white plastic surface will need to be wiped
clean often, otherwise stains appear which cannot be removed. Most
parts like the lid, basket, can be detached and placed in a dishwasher
to be cleaned. It does not feature any advanced safety functions,
but comes with rubber feet so it will not slip on marble type worktops,
coolwall, and a sealed lid with a hinged locking handle. For £29.99
it's hard to fault it, except the appearance. To be blunt it's plain
ugly.

Simple
to use - not unnecessarily fiddly with countless features to malfunction.
Did
not cook the chips very well - my old fryer was better.
Average cooking performance - I am not convinced it will not leak.
