What a horribly designed piece of junk, and expensive junk to boot.

For £59.99 is one damn expensive kettle and includes nearly all the latest features a kettle can include.

My ownership has lasted just four months and the kettle has sprung a least, luckily it's under warranty but you really expect something this expensive to last a little longer.

The problem seems to be the quality of the materials used, the plastic and metal is very flimsy and due to the pressure built up by most kettle I guess it's obvious something is going to give.

I have read similar horror stories about leaks from the JK27, unluckily for other owners it has occurred just after the warranty period, which resulted in Breville washing their hands of the saga.

Stay well clear of this model, and this manufacturer is my advice.

Cheap and cheerful, love the cordless feature, been a joy to use.
