Technical Details: Dimensions are 45.8cm x 29.5cm x 38cm
(D) WxHxD, 800 watts power, capacity of twenty litres, maximum plate
size of 29 cm, MAFF heating category: E.
Features: Easi tronic controls, six different cooking settings
- including defrost, a timer which can be set up to 95 minutes
Pros: Plenty of bang for your buck, loaded with enough settings
and power to cover most microwaving tasks. It has a large capacity,
with enough volume and dimension to fit most dishes. It also looks
a little different to most microwaves, featuring a mirror finish door
which you will either love or hate. It is certainly best suited to
a modern brushed aluminum styled kitchen, rather than an old oak country
cottage.
Cons: Hinari are not renowned for their build quality, and
this model is no exception. It does not have that quality feel of
the premium brands. Reliability is another issue, customer satisfaction
reports suggest Hinari to be a brand which has suspect reliability.
Which indicates that this machine may not have the life span of
say a Panasonic microwave. And may, if your unlucky, contain a greater
probability of breaking down within a short period of time.
Verdict: A good compromise for people looking for a microwave
with all the bells and whistles, but does not cost a fortune. Reliability
may be an issue, it's certainly more of a risk compared to buying
a Panasonic for example. But it should come with a warranty, it's
certainly recommended. On a plus note, it has plenty of power, defrosts
well, is easy to clean, plenty of capacity, and is certainly interesting
to behold.
