With poor online information on the web I was hesitant to buy unseen from Jessops.co.uk. It's hard to judge the actual size, but the price and Carl Zeizz lens were enough to push me into the deep end and take a plunge. To date I have not been in the disappointed. The camera is small enough to fit into the palm of your hand, with a sturdy well built body and simple intuitive controls. There are few buttons available but they contain a wealth of features. It will work well as a basic compact digital for those traveling with little baggage. Simple for those with little technical know how because it's easy to use, the lens ensures quality pictures, and it has a super saver battery feature so battery life is fantastic. The exposure quality is particularly good for those tricky locations of large dark or light areas. I cannot find a fault with it, superb.

It also takes great movies, the LCD is little too small however. Plenty of storage space with a built in 32 meg, this helps with saving the picture quickly. Lag seems to have been totally eradicated by Sony, from pressing the button and the picture being taken there is no delay. The majority of digital cameras I've used feature plenty of lag. Reliable, quick, light, cheap, good pics, good movies, well built. There is nothing more you need.

this Camera has alot of problems

Sony itself declared that there cameras had many problems with the lens, in humidity and hot conditins the lens normally stops working completly, and then you either be lucky and your local dealer accepts this and fix, or you have to start looking for a new camera.
