Pros: Zooming on the LCD screen is very sharp. Steadyshot feature prevents images from slightly blurring. Feels solid, sturdy and built to last.

Cons: Does not support SD cards. The integrated memory capacity is a little on the low side at 56 MB. When recording video's it is not possible to zoom in or out. It also lacks in features, it does not have face detection, custom white balance option or red-eye correction.

Verdict: In comparison to the IXUS 70 it has it's work cut out to compete. The feature list, LCD pixel quality, battery life, shutter speed, mac support, dimensions and weight all come up short. A quality camera, but there are better options around, most notably the IXUS 70.
