So good I could wack myself silly, all you need from a compact
cameras, small, but with an excellent display screen, easy to use
functions. Only suffers from a lack of red eye control, and of course
poor light quality is grainy.
For £164 new in 2004 I feel I've gotten value for money,
only extra I needed was a 256MB memory card for it, so I can store
over 150 high res pics. At the time of purchase it was the perfect
setup for me, it included
- + 3 Megapixels
- + 3 x optical zoom
- Video playback but with audio, most cameras didn't include this
in 2004.
- Size and weight to fit into a pocket
- Below £200
Of course present day you could find model after model to meet
the above spec. But I have still opted not to replace the Konica,
the photo quality is still excellent even to today's standards,
and the 3x optical zoom makes for good clarity pictures.
I have been mightily impressed by the KD-400Z in 2 years of ownership,
it only lacks good memory storage space.
