A simplified camera which produces quality shots because of it's
six mega-pixels. It does not contain a viewfinder which is an odd
omission for a modern digital camera. But it seems they have tried
to make everything as straight forward as possible. Therefore the
LCD works perfectly well as a viewfinder. It's clear under any lighting
conditions.
The screen is also touch sensitive and the menu is so easy to
operate that I am sure even a 10 child will have no trouble with
it. At 3 inches it's also alot bigger than the standard 2.5 inch
screens usually included. Even though everything is simple to use
Pentax have not scrimped on the features, there is a wealth of different
lighting and shot modes.
Everything also works alot faster than on my previous cameras.
The T10 starts up fast, and the zoom and menu system works at a
rapid speed. I tried a few of the T10's rivals while picking it
and they all lacked it's speed.
The two little problems I came across are the focus speed and a
slight shutter lag. Overall I am very pleased with it.
