The V550 is part of the EasyShare series of cameras from Kodak. So what does EasyShare refer to?, it's a software package that's included with any camera is the series. Kodak promote this software as a easy way to edit, organise and print your snaps. Or you can create an easy , slideshow on your computer. Probably the best feature included with the software is their 'One Touch To Better Pictures' feature. This is big help for novices and beginners because it automatically adjusts your printer settings so it produces consistently high print pictures at the ideal settings needed for the picture. Of course they recommend you only print on Kodak Inkjet photo paper. We found the best features of this camera were it's size and feel, and the ability to take pictures quickly. But for a 5mp camera in low light conditions the results were well below my expectations. The video mode was also a big letdown, I would suggest you avoid this camera.
