Problem free.
See above ^

Contains a decent spec considering it's a sub-400 laptop. I am considering upgrading the memory to 1GB because it does struggle with an online game I play. The casing does feel a little flimsy, the silver paintwork does scratch easily. It does not feel as solid as a Sony notebook but from previous dealings with this company, I have no worries about longevity.

Steady performer.
Don't be confused by the bluetooth switch - it's not enabled.

Lacks enough USB ports for my needs. Shame they couldn't increase it to 5 or 6 from 4.

Fast processor which is future proof Vista capable. Also light weight for traveling.
Produces alot of heat, on the left hand bottom side.

I am waiting to install Vista once Microsoft have dealt with all the bugs and it's stable. Acer have produced an good laptop with solid features giving you excellent value for money.

Boots up within 25 seconds. Vista capable. Battery power is good.
None.

It took about 60 minutes to signup all the forms for Windows etc. - straight forward and idiot proof. I can still get a reception from the wireless connection while stood 500 yards up my road. The screen is clear even in direct sunlight and with an international warrantee service thrown in for free I could not be happier with my purchase. A breeze to get up and running.

fast processer, quite noise while operating, good value for money
not durable, gets very hot, quality of sounds crap

it is a good laptop, all round performance wise, however it just doesnt feel durable enough...it feels as though the whole thing will become broken if you dropped it from a quite high height. for a couple more pounds, you could get a better laptop from a better brand and be worry free. also, if you leave it on your lap for even ten minutes, your lap starts to burn like hell.... i just dont feel that its reliable enough where you can keep all your important documents and files....just hope that it lasts long...
