One
of the best around. So cool cause the processor supports the new
64 bit tech.
Not
so great to modify.
Was purchased primarily for gaming, straight away I noticed the
improved shades of colour, especially on the latest games like oblivion
- runs super smooth now I've reloaded windows.

Upgraded
from a sluggish 2Ghz P4, power nearly doubled - very impressed.

For the past year Intel has been packaging their cpu's with hyper
threading, this enables you to fully multitask with Windows - loadup
all your power hugging apps without a noticeable slowdown. To begin
with I was somewhat dubious of this claim, I'd read it with every
press release from Intel for their latest processor. After running
some bench tests their claim seems to come upto muster, their core2
duo truly can handle multiple apps loaded simultaneously. For what
it costs, it's the best processor available at the moment.

Technicality
superior to AMD's X2's range of dual-core CPU's.
Motherboard
compatibility issues, those with a slower speed are largely redundant.
Cost effective CPU - just built a new PC with it - I would it recommend
it to everyone starting out on the road to building a new home computer.
