Very
cheap considering the ram and hard disk included.
Heavy,
the retailer I purchased from gave it a poor portability rating.
Had the itch to buy a new laptop with the upcoming release of vista.
Most people advised me to wait for a stable version of vista but
my current laptop was on it's last legs so I needed to find a laptop
from elsewhere in a couple of weeks. I was not going to go with
Dell this time, there was much hassle with returning a faulty one,
it nearly drove me to a nervous breakdown because I relay on a laptop
for my work. Chose this one because of the large memory ram and
hard disk, the price was very reasonable and it came with windows
Vista. Setup seems to be totally problem free on all new computer
hardware these days, and there was no difference here. The only
downside is the weight, it's chunky and heavy and explains why it's
so cheap.

Purchased from comet.co.uk, i got it next day which I didn't expect,
started it up and worked perrrfict, only took a few mins to register
online with windows which is a biatch. Vista looks so cool, new
and amazing compared to old man xp. So far it's been reliable, fast
for a notebook, a wallet saving machine.

Spec
and price.
It's
looks like an ugly box to be blunt.
I've always owned Vaios so I was not particularly confident moving
from a premium brand like Sony. The downside with vaios is the price,
which cost more than twice as much as a typical eco notebook. I
only required something basic for the office, with the notebook
only needing to run basic office applications. So far I have to
say the HP machine has done well, with over 1mb of ram it effortlessly
loads up large csv files in excel. The connection to a local wi-fi
network is fine and the overall build quality seems pretty good,
even if it's not equal to a vaio. The screen is clear and bright,
and doesn't produce eye strain from the glare like previous notebooks
have. My first impressions of Windows Vista are largely positive,
I was nervous about having to learn a new OS and all the typical
bugs you get with a new software application. I am glad I saved
myself a few hundred pounds and went with HP.

I got it from Staples has my mate told me there are good at what
they do, so i when a long and told them what i do and what i what
it for and told them how much i would like to pay, the member of
staff told me that this was the best one for the money. I ask him
to tell me why and the staff took me to look at all the other laptop's
and told me what they have and don't have to this laptop. I was
not push in to buy it and he left me to think about what he had
told me, i am very happy with it and happy that i went to Staples.
