Screen
is clear and new widescreen format, plenty of power from cpu and
ram.
Changing
from desktop the keyboard is very light to the touch and find myself
pressing keys too hard.
Overall very pleased with it, the spec is great for a laptop only
costing £600. Like with virtually every laptop, and especially
ultra thin ones the ability to play games is nil and the sound is
very poor. It's obviously not a multimedia machine, but that's fine
cause it's only been bought for work.
It's equipped with an AMD's Dual Duo processor, 2048mb of RAM and
a 120GB hard drive, compared to the spec on my old laptop it certainly
represents excellent value for money. It also came with the latest
version of Windows called 'Vista' with the Home Premium. It has
taken me a little time to get used to, but I won't bore you with
that story.
I have owned a laptop of some form for over three years now. I
must say that I really love them compared to a stand alone desktop.
I am not a hardcore games fan or a techi geek so I do not measure
the performance of my computers or give two hoots as long as it
turns on and works. What I will say is that siemens have done a
good job making this one feel right, it's nice to the touch and
look at, I do use a external track mouse because I cannot get the
hang of the touch browse thingy's.
I do not know of fujitsu siemen's reputation for laptops, I didn't
actually know they made them until I visited my local comet. Longterm
I will have to wait and see whether it's reliable or not. But my
first impressions are of a quality laptop, with excellent specs,
not suited to gaming or entertainment, but for work you could do
a lot worse than this one.

Easy
to get started out of the box, feels good quality, features and
performance
Not
recommended for a high end gamer like my son.
No long difficult process setting it up, wasnt any messing around,
just plugged in it and connected the right cables and straight away
it found our home wireless network. Windows vista did not produce
any errors with my old software apps. It certainly doesn't disappoint
in terms of power and looks, it is just as good as our previous
Acer model.
