Features
Intel's class leading Core microarchitecture.
Still
expensive.
The quad core technology features four execution cores which promises
to deliver improved artificial intelligence and physics engine for
3D games. I look forward to seeing how it renders my pre-ordered
games like Colin McRae: DIRT.

Vista
is still buggy, but in co-op with this cpu i've been able to complete
tasks faster.
Wait
a few months and it will be sub-£100, people who buy at launch
get a raw deal.
I would rate the gameplay achieved by this cpu as impressive. It
certainly offers a realism level of visualization and physics beyond
that yet seen by me. I doubt however that many people will fork
out £287.99 for it like I did. I do feel Intel offer a poor
level of bang for bucks for whose buying their latest offering.
The price is often three or four fold of that found 6-9 months down
the line.

Can
now run WoW on full terrain settings and graphics. Supreme power
from this processor.
Zing
After installing Windows Vista it was patently obvious my old setup
was going to work - chugging away like an old steam boat. This one
runs faster and supports all the important things like 'Hyper-Threading
Technology'. Just make sure your motherboard and power supply support
it - check the socket type, or simply enter your motherboard's model
number into a search engine like Ask or Google. Most manufacturers
include an online manual with your motherboard details.
