Update of the hugely successful iP4000. For a price of around £75-80 you get an advanced printer which offers top performance for the low price. Canon states it should give you photo lab quality with a fast print speed (you should expect a photo lab quality 4" x 6" borderless photo to be produced in approx. 51 sec). The acceptable photo and text quality make this printer a versatile choice for the home and small office user. You also get the basic features expected of a printer of this price such as DVD / CD printing, 2 paper trays and a single Ink system for simple cartridge installation. The Canon iP4200 essentially replaces both the ip3000 and iP4000 printers and and with seamless duplexing printing all have to do is check off a box to handle printing on both sides easily. With prints approaching the quality of a commercial photo service this printer must be considered an excellent bargain, especially at the price. The ContrastPLUS technology also adds additional extra depth and contrast to photos.
