Plays/records onto both -R and +R disks. Saves plenty of room with an inbuilt freeview receiver.
Only supports region 2 discs, which I found to my cargin when I ordered a dvd from Amazon.com marketplace seller from California.

I ordered it online from comet.co.uk, it looked and felt more tinny than the pic suggested. It's really letdown by a noisy fan, I have to turn the volume up just to drown it out whilst recording. It's nearly louder than my pc/xbox 360, which is quite a feat. The boot up process is laborishly slow, you jam the machine with too many commands and it will stopped functioning in a hissy fit. I usually end up unplugging the device for a full reboot. I commend Daewoo for supporting -R and +R, and for it's inbuilt digital receiver. However, there are too many subtractors to recommend this machine.
