Good aesthetics, HDMI output, remote has well laid out buttons and is easy to understand.
I had to exchange my HDMI cable due to a flickering picture, but that was not the units fault.

My tv is a Pioneer PDP-5080XD, I'm quite happy with the combo of the two pio's. But I am having problems displaying the region versions, can anyone help?

I did a simple web search, brought up these instructions,

- Power up the machine, remove any dvds and any connections to the usb port

- Select the home menu with your remote control

- You need to browse to the initial settings section

- Then go to the options tab

- All you need to do is press the display button and the LCD display should display the region.

thxs eds, yep it worked, thumbs up. I was considering paying a premium and getting a modified version, so i could be region free with a PAL-to-NTSC conversion.
