Will saitify a home thatre first timer.
Lacks wattage - therefore the sound lacks punch.

5.1 system sounds impressive.
Looks blands and fails to impress.

Considering all the pros and cons I am glad I took the plunge and purchased a home theatre set. It really does make a difference when watching films and TV shows on DVD. I usually listen to normal TV broadcasts with the TV speakers, only because I like noticing the difference in sound quality when switching to DVD. I think you can fast become accutomed to the sound quality of a home cineam set, so that it becomes the norm instead of something a little special.

Sound quality appears sublime to my ears, but I havent compared it to other systems.
The plastics used feel cheap, scratch easily and can be faulted. No power off switch, not energy efficient.
