Mp3 players do not come much smaller than this. The storage capacity is about the bare minimum at 256MB. You can expect around 8 hours of music storage and support for file types including MP3, WMA, ASF and OGG files. The IFP-790 includes standard features for a mp3 players like play modes, track search and playlist editing. This model also includes great extended battery life. You can expect a class leading 40 hours from just one AA battery. Alongside the built-in FM tuner and voice recorder the IFP-790 is easily a match for the iPod Shuffle in terms of storage space and has far more features. The design is ultra-light at 62 grams, with a stylish red metallic wearable design. iRiver also include a carrying case, armband, earphones and neck strap in the package as well. With a price range of £84.59 - £124.00 you can not go far wrong in terms of sound quality and features for the price. The storage could be better if it was 512MB, but it's still a country mile ahead of the iPod Shuffle for value for money.
