The NV-GS75 camcorder features the 3CCD technology. The aim of 3CCD is to bring quality to Panasonic's ultra compact models. This technology plays a critical role in the picture quality of the NV-GS75. It helps to process each of the three primary components of light provided by a camcorder, Panasonic state this produces a pure and faithful colour. When you combine this with Panasonic's Crystal Engine it helps produce an advanced image-processing circuitry for a CCD camera system. I have to agree with Panasonic that this setup has helped produce superb clarity (still picture were good), but that's the only outstanding thing with this camera. I found that neither the video quality or audio were up to scratch, and to be honest left a bit to be desired. I expected nothing more from a mid-low level camcorder. It's just a shame Panasonic and others have to advertise it otherwise. For the price I have used better quality cameras with more all rounded features. Those looking for value for money should look elsewhere.
