I have owned an ipod nano cause my friend went to Australia and bought me one. The back is shiny and has scratches at the back and at the screen too, but overall it is really nice i can use it for more than 13 hours. I have no problem ever since the problem with you people, your always saying it's a disappointment but without looking at the bright side...try buying a crystal case or a silicone case it would be best...use it feel it love it!!!

PS, i made my decision after reading positive things here.

I will never have another, I own a 6G mini that is great, but it's old and I wanted something a little smaller so I got a Nano in Oct. Big mistake....it locked up in 3 days and I had to run through a marathon of fixes with tech support to get it back going. I've since taken it back to the store and am back using my mini (which I love by the way) Apple PLEASE!!!! discontinue the Nano and bring back the mini.

This product gave me problems on and off after 6 months. Mistaking the problem for bad headphones i didn't call apple until a month after warantee. All Apple had to say was pretty much.. that sucks for you. $230 right in the shitter.
