Priced to fit the average budget, and compact depth for most living rooms, let down because of the picture quality of normal digital transmission TV. NTL transmit pictures to our sky box at 50 hz, but the TV will only scan pictures at 100 hz, therefore it has to predict half of the image and this results in lots of ghosting. With some backgrounds the picture can seem to vibrate and can actually make you feel a little ill watching it after a prolong period. Overall disappointed.

Err........... how to respond to Cliff, nonsense imho.

I have received superb image quality than is easily the equal of my mates plasma. The machine also looks the bizz.

The screen does take 30-60 seconds to warm up and uses quite a noisy fan at the back.

Cliff may complain about ghosting with the RE-44SZ20RD, but I've seen Plasma TV’s where the ghosting was just dreadful.

Looks great, the price is right, picture is good.
