Dirt
cheap considering all the features on board.
Looks
it.
The system in question was bought as a present for our teenage
daughter. It was simple to setup with a modern LCD television set,
performs well and my daughters seems satisfied with it. I must say
I was not taken with the looks and feel of quality whilst taking
it out of the box. The speakers are quite hideous compared to the
set of Sony we have in the living room.

Sound
quality.
None.
The sound quality will impress and is overall excellent, plenty
of functions included so you can adjust the settings to suit your
personal preferences. I did finally however revert to using the
standard settings, but it's nice to have alternatives. Our television
set is already a Panasonic, my research recommended sticking with
the same brand.

Sub
woofer is slim and fits almost anywhere.
None
that come to mind.
The instruction manual was a pain to read, am I the only one who
thinks they are either overly simple or far too complex. I did however
have experience setting up a home theater system for my younger
brother, so in regards to that it was quick to set up. His was a
Yamaha system, cost around about the same price but the sub woofer
included was massive. He actually had a hard job finding anywhere
in his lounge to place it. Where it is positioned now is an eye
sore. The sub woofer included with the SCHT530 is not much bigger
than a speaker, easily fits in most spaces and doesn't take over
a room.
