Sturdy and simple to use.
Looks. The battery cover snaps off easy and breaks.

We have two of these controllers for both our sky digital receivers, my only complaint is that the battery cover does not snap into place very well. It often comes loose and falls to the floor as the remote ages. The more you forcefully try and snap it back into place the worse the problem becomes. Finally the little plastic part which snaps into place breaks and your left with a remote with no battery cover. You can either glue it or use some tape, but this either fails or looks messy. The controller however is very simple to get used to and is nice to hold and handle. The looks are nothing to shout about though, I would have preferred Sky to design something not so eye catching and which would match my other remotes.

Lost ours and were pleasantly surprised to find a replacement cost just £7.99 online. Usually when you lose a remote the manufacturer really likes to stick you in the arse over the cost. Full marks to Sky for making a replacement so cheap.
